Dementia Support at The Bridge

Description

Dementia Support at The Bridge is about building a caring and supportive community for people affected by dementia.

Our purpose is to create a hub for carer led activities in support of people living with dementia, their carers, families and friends.

Our group includes people with dementia from their 40's to their 90's, family and professional carers.

Our carers work together to create activities that are engaging, stimulating and above all fun.

We welcome all who are living with, affected by or working in the field of dementia.

Our primary aim is to challenge the feelings of lack of confidence and isolation that are widely associated with dementia.

Our activities for people with dementia and their carers:

  • Every Monday 1.30pm - 3.30pm - Drop in social get-together, table activities and games available
  • Every Friday 3pm - 4pm - Silver Lining Singing Group
