Joint Community Rehabilitation Service - Ward B, Bexhill Hospital


This is a short term re-enablement programme which aims to provide support to people in their own homes; by working closely with users and their representatives to reduce dependency by encouraging and promoting independence to make the most of their abilities and improve their quality of life.

This is a domiciliary care service which includes:-
  • Assistance with transfers e.g. toilet, chairs and bed
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Maintaining personal hygiene 
  • Mouth care
  • Shaving
  • Assisting with toilet needs, including management of continence
  • Assisting with or administration of medication
  • Assisting with catheter care including changing and emptying
  • Assisting with stoma care including changing and emptying
