Refuge - East Sussex

Description

Refuge, the specialist domestic violence charity, operates five refuges within East Sussex, in the districts of:

  • Eastbourne
  • Hastings
  • Lewes
  • Rother
  • Wealden

We can offer temporary refuge accommodation to women aged 16 and over, with or without non adult dependents, who are experiencing domestic violence / abuse.

Refuge is committed to providing a sensitive and appropriate service to all women and children escaping domestic violence.

We will work with clients to find independent accommodation; we will work to ensure that they are protected from harm and will also seek to help the client to live independently and to be able to participate in the community.

Refuge is commissioned by Supporting People to offer this service.

The addresses provided for this service are of the local Police Stations.
